Hong Kong, 22 October 2024 – ESR Asset Management (Prosperity) Limited (the "REIT Manager"), as manager of Prosperity Real Estate Investment Trust ("Prosperity REIT") [SEHK: 808], is pleased to announce that Prosperity REIT has won the “Outstanding Award for Green and Sustainable Loan Issuer (Real Estate Investment Trust) - Visionary Sustainability-linked Loan Performance Metrics” and the “Pioneering Award for ESG Disclosure Contribution” at the Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Finance Awards 2024 (the “Awards”) organized by Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (“HKQAA”).

The Awards aim to recognize the efforts and contributions of organizations in advancing green and sustainable finance, carbon neutrality, climate risk disclosure and ESG disclosure for the sustainable development of Hong Kong. Being the first Hong Kong REIT to achieve 100% sustainability-linked financing back in 2022, Prosperity REIT has taken a step further this year by securing Hong Kong’s first Green and Transition Loan in the real estate industry. Prosperity REIT will implement its Sustainability Roadmap 2030 by leveraging sustainable financing and the Science Based Targets initiative (“SBTi”) framework.
